As both a premier Shropshire timber merchant and bespoke furniture maker, we source and kiln-dry a variety of native species, including Oak, Elm, Sycamore, Cherry, Walnut, Ash, London Plane, Yew, Beech and Burr variants. Whether supplying premium slabs or creating custom live edge furniture,

A lovely piece finished and installed today 👍

This spalted beech desk top had plenty of natural character already, but a few voids were crying out for something extra... so we chucked in some black pearl resin and hey presto 😎

The dark resin really highlights the spalting and grain, making every detail pop while keeping all the natural beauty of the timber.

WHY IS IT THIS HOT?! 😭☀️

Britain gets 3 days of sunshine and suddenly everyone’s pretending they enjoy sitting in traffic, melting in garden centres and paying £7 for an ice cream the size of a walnut 😭

Meanwhile sensible people will be wandering around a timber shop looking at beautiful Oak, Elm, Yew and Walnut slabs pretending they “definitely have a project planned for this” 😂🪵

You might arrive sweaty and overheated…

But you’ll leave happily discussing grain patterns like you’ve suddenly become a forestry expert 😭
