Proud to keep earning our place on the Marquette Veterans Home project.

Lakenen Crane and Rigging Service has been the only crane company supporting the project to date, and we’ve been asked to stay on for the next phase—setting the light-gauge metal trusses.

That continued trust means a lot to us. It reflects the work our crew puts in every day: showing up prepared, coordinating with the trades on site, and helping keep the job moving.

Thank you to our crew and the project team. We’re proud to continue doing our part to build a place that will serve our veterans.

Schedules change. Conditions shift. Good crews adapt and keep the job moving.

Lakenen Crane And Rigging Service is proud to be providing all crane support currently on site for construction of the new Michigan Veteran Homes D.J. Jacobetti facility in Marquette Township.

We appreciate Rick Thurman and the crew at Zupin Industrial for sending over this great shot—and for continuing to trust Lakenen Crane with their hoisting needs on this important Upper Peninsula project.

Safe, efficient and cost-effective hoisting solutions across the U.P. and beyond.

We Remember.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families whose lives were forever changed.

We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders and ordinary Americans who ran toward danger to help others.

We remember the courage, sacrifice and unity our country showed in the days that followed.

Twenty-five years later, we honor their memory and remain grateful to the men and women who continue to serve and protect our communities and our country.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Another milestone for Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service.

Earlier this year, LCRS had the opportunity to provide tower crane services for the Northern Michigan University student housing project in Marquette.

This project marked the first deployment of a self-erecting tower crane in Marquette, Michigan—bringing a different approach to material handling and construction logistics to the Upper Peninsula.

From coordinating mobilization and er****on through months of operation in a U.P. winter, our team was proud to help keep this project moving safely and efficiently.

Projects like this demonstrate what we continue working toward at Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service: bringing more capability, more specialized equipment, and more complete hoisting solutions to contractors throughout the Upper Peninsula and beyond.

We appreciate everyone involved in making this project a success and the trust placed in LCRS to get the job done.

🇺🇸 Happy 250th Birthday to the greatest experiment in self-government, individual liberty, and free enterprise the world has ever known—the United States of America.

For two and a half centuries, this nation has proven that when people are free to dream, build, innovate, and work hard, extraordinary things happen. While we’re far from perfect, the freedoms protected by this country have created opportunities unlike anywhere else on Earth.

At Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service, we are incredibly grateful to call America home. The ability to forge our own path, take risks, build a business from the ground up, create good-paying jobs, invest in our community, and serve an amazing group of clients is only possible because of the freedoms and opportunities this nation provides.

We don’t take that privilege for granted.

Today, we’re thankful for those who came before us, those who continue to defend our liberties, and everyone who gets up each day to build, create, and keep America moving forward.

From all of us at Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service, Happy Independence Day—and Happy 250th Birthday, America.

Here’s to the next 250 years of freedom, opportunity, and building something that lasts.

🇺🇸 God Bless America.

A few days late to the party celebrating Lakenen Crane And Rigging’s 8th birthday—but we’ve been busy doing what we do best.

Eight years ago, Lakenen Crane & Rigging Service was built on a simple foundation: work hard, do what you say you’re going to do, take care of your clients, and never compromise on safety. What started as a vision has grown into a company we’re incredibly proud of, serving clients throughout the Upper Peninsula and beyond.

This milestone belongs to far more people than just us. It takes a tremendous team effort to deliver the safe, efficient, and reliable service our clients have come to expect. We are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best people in the industry.

To our employees—thank you. Your dedication, professionalism, long hours, and willingness to answer the call day after day are the driving force behind everything we’ve accomplished. The reputation we’ve built over the last eight years is a direct reflection of the work you put in every day.

To our vendors, suppliers, and industry partners—thank you for helping keep us equipped, supported, and moving forward. Your partnership allows us to continue delivering on our commitments and providing full-service crane, rigging, and specialized transportation solutions throughout the region.

To our clients—thank you for placing your trust in us. We never take that responsibility for granted. Your confidence in our team has allowed us to grow, invest, and continue expanding our capabilities year after year.

As we celebrate eight years in business, we’re not just looking back at what we’ve built—we’re looking ahead to what comes next. We remain committed to investing in our people, our equipment, our relationships, and our community as we continue building a company that will be here for generations to come.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey. We are grateful for your support and excited for what the future holds.

Here’s to eight years—and many more ahead.
