Well day two of the Waipā Creative Trail is finished and its been a wonderful event. I am happily exhausted now. I've sold lots of creations including some pieces I have been reluctant to let go of and have been sitting in boxes waiting to be rehomed to the right people and via an event like this and I know they will be cherished. Ive made some awesome connections over the two days which are so valuable. Thankyou, thankyou from the bottom of my heart.

Day one of the Waipā Creative Trail comes to an end. Thankyou who came by, looked at our art and purchased pieces too. We have another full day tomorrow so are eager to showcase our creative passions again and Dee has some interactive activities to partake in. So another day to get yourself over to Pirongia to see us, or come back for a second visit should you have seen something today and can't get it out of your head and want to see again.

I've recently had the absolute pleasure of teaching and guiding two lovely people through the handbuilding process. They travelled some distance to make these unique and cherished pieces. They are finally fired and ready to show you all and I think they are wonderful and charming pieces and will create happy memories for some time to come.

Well I am done creating for now. Tomorrow I have part two of a couples private handbuilding class, can't wait to do final firing for them and show you what they have created. The rest of the week is finishing some gardening jobs, packing and labeling work for the weekend, Friday will be set up day and weekend I will get to meet lots of people at the exhibition I am at in Pirongia.

Na Daoine Maithe - my take on one of the good people - fairy. She has golden wings. For viewing and sale this weekend at the Waipā Creative Trail. Stop number 2, in Pirongia. I've topped up my daisy sticks, added some new flowers and have some mini toadstools in beautiful glazes. Photos to follow.

Lots of gardening done today, emptied the kiln, added gold lustre to a large fairies wings and she's back in the kiln, and managed to attach all the stick daisies and flowers, and some magical toadstools onto metal posts, then tonight its assembling the flower chains. On top of that a lovely lady came to purchase three wall fairies before they even got to the exhibition - however they will still be on display next weekend so you can judge for yourself whether they should become a permanent range of creations.
