Getting your standing posture right is the easiest way to keep the aches away this week. Just check these two spots:

✔️ Adjust your desk so your elbows rest at a perfect right angle while typing. This stops you from shrugging your shoulders!
✔️ Avoid locking your legs straight; a slight bend in your knees works wonders for taking the pressure off your lower back.

Notice your back aching a little more now that the mornings are getting crisp? 🥶

As the temperature drops, our muscles naturally tense up, and we subconsciously hunch to conserve heat. Keeping moving is the best way to combat the cold. If you have a standing desk, try these three quick stretches to loosen up:

1️⃣ The Chest Opener. Clasp your hands behind your back and gently pull your shoulders down to counteract that subconscious hunch.

2️⃣ Torso Twist. Keep your hips facing the desk and gently twist your upper body to look over each shoulder to release lower back tension.

3️⃣ The Desk Plank. Step back a few paces, place your hands on the desk edge, and push your hips back to stretch your spine and hamstrings.
