New colours, new vibe, a bit of a freshen up.
But don’t worry nothing important is changing. Kelly’s Road is still all about:

Better late than never — I missed the end-of-year post, but I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello. I’ve taken a little bit of time to get my head around everything that’s been going on lately, and I’m still very much here — just moving at a slower, gentler pace while I navigate this chapter.
Thank you to everyone who’s sent messages, left kind comments, or even just quietly checked in. It honestly means more than you realise. This community has always been such a special part of Kellys Road, and I’m really grateful for all of you.

It is likely that I will have to stop for a Christmas break earlier than usual this year for surgical reasons but rest assured the wheels for now are still turning, the paintbrushes haven’t been put down for good and online orders are still being processed as usual.

Hope you’re all doing well, creating beautiful things, and looking after yourselves too.

🌸 A Personal Update from Kellys Road 🌸

Hi everyone — it feels important to share something personal with you all today.

Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s been a huge shock, and while there’s still a road ahead in terms of treatment and recovery, I want to be upfront and honest just as I’ve always tried to be here.

Kellys Road has always been about creativity, courage, and community, transforming old into new, and finding beauty in the imperfect. In many ways, this next chapter is another form of that transformation.

My aim in sharing this is not just to keep you in the loop, but to help create awareness.
If even one person reading this books their mammogram, checks a lump, or starts a conversation about breast health — then something good has come from me telling my story. Early detection truly makes a difference. 💕

As I navigate this new journey, I’ll still be around creating, sharing, and connecting with you — though some days may look a little different as I focus on my health. My amazing support crew (and apprentice!) will help keep things running smoothly while I rest when needed.
I’ll be doing my very best to keep business running as normal as possible, because creating, inspiring, and connecting with you all brings me so much joy and purpose.

And to those of you who may also be walking your own breast cancer journey — please know you’re not alone. 💗 There are many of us quietly fighting, healing, and learning to live bravely one day at a time. If my story brings even a little comfort, strength, or reminder to keep going, then sharing this is worth it.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from this business, it’s that resilience is built layer by layer — just like a good paint finish.

Thank you for your kindness, your loyalty, and for continuing to be part of this creative community. Your messages, support, and purchases — big or small — mean more than ever right now.

Let’s keep making beautiful things together — and let’s look after ourselves and each other while we do.
