Capture the unseen, with AERIAL IMAGES OR VIDEO and by providing captivating images from all angles! Aerial images from above give a new perspective to a seemingly normal day to day photograph. Traditionally, THERMAL IMAGERY uses handheld thermal imaging cameras for a variety of different uses, and covering large areas is accordingly costly and time-consuming. HD Drone Photography use the latest t

hermal imaging technology to survey areas otherwise difficult to access and cover quickly, such as roofs, solar farms. Thus avoiding the hire and use of expensive mobile platforms or using conveniently place taller building next door. VIDEO MARKETING can help your business grow faster by capturing the attention of customers new and old. What better way than visual immersive content, to grip your target audience making them feel engaged with the message you are projecting. We strive to ensure every video we produce is of the highest quality to reflect your passion. Submitting a PLANNING APPLICATION with aerial Images of your plot allows planning officials to gain a full scope of your plot giving them a greater perception of your overall plan. Aerial Images and video can be used to show CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS, from the first day breaking ground, to the finished project. Perfect for progress reports and to showcase your work to future clients or buyers. Use us for aerial ROOF SURVEYS or to ASSESS A SITE, allowing you to check the state of repair of your hard to reach roof, chimney or guttering systems in minutes, or for damage and state of repair. Eliminating height risk and need for ladders and safety equipment on all jobs involving working at height, keeping personnel at a safe distance.

📸 SPOTTED FROM THE AIR: What your solar panels are hiding! 🔍🛰️

I recently completed a drone-based thermal imaging inspection on a domestic solar array, and the results perfectly highlight why thermal tech is a game-changer for solar maintenance.

To the naked eye, these panels looked completely normal. But when we view them with an infrared lens, a completely different story is revealed.

Here's what was uncovered on this single job:
1️⃣ A completely bypassed internal circuit: One panel had an entire horizontal section completely overheating (registering a major temperature spike) due to a failed internal component. This single fault instantly knocks out roughly 33% of that panel's power output!
2️⃣ Extreme Hot Spots: On another part of the roof, a localised hot spot soaring to nearly 100°C along a shadow line. At those temperatures, you aren't just losing efficiency - you are risking permanent panel damage and serious electrical hazards.
3️⃣ Heavy Algae & Bird Soiling: The thermal camera also clearly picked up heat blocks caused by built-up green algae and bird drop fouling along the bottom edges, which acts like a blanket and suffocates the cells.

⚠️ The takeaway? If your solar generation has dropped, or if your panels haven't been checked in a few years, visual inspections simply aren't enough. Many of these high-severity electrical faults are invisible until the panel completely fails - or worse.

Regular thermal drone surveys catch these issues early, protecting your investment, keeping your home safe, and ensuring you get every single kilowatt you paid for.

Back at one of our favourite spots - The Sanctuary Cornwall ☀️

This visit included a full thermal inspection alongside some updated promotional photo and video content, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Fowey River. Not a bad office for the day! 🚁🌊

Always a pleasure catching up with Karen and Dave, and of course enjoying the warm welcome (and amazing cake!) that makes these visits extra special. 🍰✨

Busy and productive weekend! 🚁

Job completed in Newquay carrying out a 3D mapping survey using the DJI Mavic 4E from Coptrz. Over 250 aerial images were captured at varying heights and angles, with 6 Ground Control Points (GCPs) used to ensure high accuracy throughout the survey.

The final deliverables included a detailed PDF report with precise roof measurements, pitch calculations, and identification of any visible issues such as missing slates and blocked gutters. Data like this can be incredibly useful for customers considering future solar installation, roof replacement works, maintenance planning, and property inspections.

It’s great to see drone technology helping customers save time, improve planning, and make informed decisions safely from the ground. ☀️🏠

History made at Charlestown Harbour! ⚓️🌊

The brand-new lock gates are officially open, and the inner harbour is alive with movement again!

I captured the incredible moment the Nao Santa María became the first visiting vessel to pass through, alongside Annie and Sea Lion Stays making their way back to their home berths.

What a massive moment for Charlestown and Cornwall’s maritime heritage. Check out the video below to see these stunning vessels make their grand entrance! 👇🎥

After 18 months documenting the restoration of Charlestown Harbour’s lock gates, yesterday marked a huge milestone as the first visiting vessel - the Nao Santa María - passed back into the inner harbour following the reopening of the new gates. ⚓🚁

From the storm damage in 2024 to seeing vessels grounded in the basin, it’s been incredible to witness and capture this project from start to finish. The return of harbour movement, alongside vessels including Annie and Sea Lion making their way back to their home berths, really brought home what an important moment this is for Charlestown Harbour and Cornwall’s maritime heritage.

A privilege to document such a historic chapter for one of Cornwall’s most iconic harbours.

📸 A special moment I had the privilege to capture in London last year during the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

2025 marked 80 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe, and being there to witness the atmosphere, remembrance, and celebrations across the city was something truly unforgettable.

Unfortunately, no drone flying for this one due to the significant military activity, historic aircraft flypasts, and the heavily restricted London airspace - even more so than usual. With events including major processions and military flypasts over Buckingham Palace, the restrictions were understandably extensive.

Even so, it was an amazing experience to be part of and a real privilege to capture such an important moment in history through the lens.

📸 Another fantastic property shoot captured from above recently, and this one really stands out.

Set in a peaceful rural location with breathtaking countryside views, this beautiful detached bungalow sits within twelve acres of stunning gardens and paddocks 🌿🏡 The aerial shots really help showcase the scale of the grounds, from the magnificent landscaped gardens and ponds to the surrounding pasture land.

Always a pleasure capturing unique properties like this and showing them from a perspective that truly does them justice.

Sometimes the best moments are the quiet ones.

A simple view, natural sound, and a chance to pause for a minute.

Turn the volume up and step into the woodland. 🌳🍃
