Boathouse Furniture

Boathouse Furniture Custom furniture made from Scaffold Boards and Other timbers. Made to measure.

As a young child I have found great joy in making things from wood; starting with cages for mostly imaginary animals until I had my first rabbit , ‘Hoppity’ whose cage had separate lounge, dining ,bedroom and of course front and back doors. I then grew up and had a 40 year career in nursing, which took me all over the world and finally to retirement 2 years ago. I again have found the joy and crea

tive fulfilment in wood; making furniture for myself initially, then family, friends and beyond.

My motto being “ if you can’t find exactly what you want, make it.”

I use recycled scaffolding boards which make substantial pieces of furniture with their own provenance of a previous life reflected in each unique piece of furniture.
