Really pleased with the outcome of this job. Was an initial investigation for the roof as it was in a poor state, including a tree growing out of it. New roof installed and inside work completed. A much safer roof with no rot, woodworm or trees.

So this week we finished the kitchen with the splash backs completed, installing the new bathroom, which was marble aqua lock shower panels and trims new shower tray and quadrant screen. Also starting the emergency exit door which will be finished next week. And some skimming squeezed in.

A varied couple of weeks for MAR Property Maintenance, still continuing with some bigger projects but also fitting in some day work which has been long promised. Highlight for Tom and I this week is that we made our first piece of bespoke furniture for a customer. Turned out lovely too.

Really busy week for Tom and I, hanging doors fitting window boards, trunking, kitchen and worktop. Followed by mist coat, fill and sand and top coat. Ready for the weekend for sure. And a bit of skimming thrown in end of last week.

This week MAR has been working with Ben Laity Carpentry and Construction on a porch build. Insulated and DPC block wall construction with natural stone dressing. UPVC and aluminium porch kit sat on an angled slate sill. A few finishing trims to be completed Monday. A really fun build with Ben and Tom. Pointing, bellcast and some trim work to finish off this project.

The latest project for the last 2 weeks with some little jobs added. Main job is an out building conversion to be used as a games room and office. New lintel double doors installed. V**e barrier and insulation, walls studded to flatten off and square up as much as possible. Floor primed and self levelled. An evening en-suite flooring job with the walls skimmed at the weekend.
