Part 2 of the custom drape for
A technique we call CinkuCanka was used with jute rope to create the unique texture of the drape. TOTAL SIZE 4 meters high x 3 meters wide.

PART 1. Here at CANEWORLD, every now and again we get amazing commissions to manufacture. in Windhoek, came up with a concept that we had to excute. A drape, to seperate a public area at à lodge in 2 seperate areas. The drape had to be spectacular and be a feature. It is for the Hoanib Elephant camp in the remote Northwestern part, in the Kaokoland area of Namibia. It had to reflect the landscape, the dryness of the area and whatever we could do to make this spectacular. Almost daily consultations with the owner and designer of Moi Moi Interior design in Windhoek lead to this amazing drape. Total size 4 meters high and 3 meters wide.
