Hey friends!
We recently had a mom sign a lease for her and her 3 teens! We are in need of a fridge for the unit, especially since one of the teens is type 1 chronic diabetic and requires their insulin to be refrigerated. If anyone is interested in helping this family please message us. Thank you!

Please join YouthConnect Center for Family Night! Youth ages 13-21 and families are welcome to visit the Center on October 28th between 5-7 to go to Casita De Miau, a cat lounge in downtown Springfield, and to paint pumpkins in the center! It’s that time of year where we need blankets for our unhoused youth. Currently we are looking for:
⭐️the cozier the better! Fleece or flannel is great.
❌ comforters or crocheted and knitted quilts are wonderul, but difficult to manage for our friends when they get wet or are being transported. We will need these later into the winter.
⭐️throw size is always a plus for us.
⭐️the more the merrier

We’ve been working towards the goal of more shelter nights for a long time. With the help of The GLO Center we are able to offer more nights of safe sleep for unhoused youth.

A Springfield shelter program for youth experiencing housing instability is expanding.
