Midwest Enterprises for the Blind, Inc. (MWEB) welcomes Drew Guinn as President and Chief Operating Officer. Drew brings extensive experience in manufacturing, operations, quality management, and business transformation, with leadership roles at Amazon, California Closets, and Stryker.

Throughout his career, Drew has led complex operations, developed high-performing teams, strengthened manufacturing and quality systems, and delivered measurable business growth. His experience includes leading large-scale logistics operations, transforming manufacturing performance, and supporting global mergers and acquisitions across diverse industries.

As President and COO, Drew is focused on expanding MWEB’s partnerships, strengthening its operational capabilities, and advancing its mission to train, employ, and empower people who are blind or visually impaired. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University and an MBA in Finance from Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business.

On Saturday, October 17th from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM we will be at Kazoo Books!

We're excited to be talking about a potential new service opportunity in publishing and editing for people who are blind and visually impaired. We are looking to gauge the community's interest and spread awareness for blind employment and for disabled and neurodivergent people in publishing.

All are welcomed to attend!
