I’m excited about how she turned out! This beautiful mermaid design by WhimsyKel Designs is the centerpiece of this dresser. Using Dixie Belle Paint in several color I blended the design to the edges of the drawers.

To create the driftwood vibe on the cabinet I randomly painted the top and sides with Briar Patch and Weeping willow chalk paint adding a few patches of coffee bean. When dry I used Olive Wood and a wood graining tool to give a faux wood vibe and expose the colors from underneath. Finishing with Vand**e glaze to add the antique look

Inside the drawers were freshened with briar patch CMP. The outsides we reconditioned with big mammas butta. The top edge is finished with copper guilding wax

For the custom k***s I used a mold by Redesign with Prima and Amazing casting resin. Painted with coffee bean and touched with copper wax to accent her beautiful hair

This sweet little desk is full of feminine whimsy. The combination of Dixiebelle Lucky Lavender CMP with Silk Chantilly stripes is soft and romantic working perfectly with this stunning fiber paper from Redesign with Prima. For the hardwear I used Lucky Lavender CMP and after 2 coats of satin clear coat I touched the details with Lilac chameleon guilding wax 💜

I took her out to my booth and forgot to photograph! So I took a few pictures there.

This is perfect for a princess at any age! Make up table or a desk. Who are my purple lovers?!

This beautiful table is something I put together for a fundraising auction for The Chubby Mermaids! These ladies are serious and do endurance swimming events including swimming the waters between Mackinaw City and St Ignace under the bridge 🧜‍♀️

This solid wood table has been embellished with rice paper from WhimsyKel Designs. Blended by hand using a variety of Dixie Belle Paint Company paints. Table base was painted with Dixiebelle CMP “Midnight Sky”. I added depth using brown Best Dang Wax. Sparkling gold German glass glitter shines beneath the crystal clear resin 💎

It’s hard to get a great picture against the shine of the top but she looks like she’s floating under water 💧

This little 2 drawer stand is a custom piece for a clients mom. Another beautiful paper from WhimsyKel Designs 😻 the cat looks like a pet her mom recently said goodbye to 😔

I added feet, cleaned, sanded, repaired and primed using 2 coats of bonding boss. Using Dixie Belle Paint I did a base of CMP hurricane gray. Gravel road for the second coat sponging back with a sea sponge and textured towel to expose the lighter gray underneath. Everything had 2 coats of clear satin coat and a little black wax for the feet. Beautiful gold k***s match the gold in his eyes ❤️

I hope seeing this face brings comfort and happiness to its new owner

This chair was stripped down to its frame. Painted, glazed and distressed for a driftwood vibe. New jute straps, burlap, cotton, foam (1” on chair back, 2” on seat), all tucked in with Dacron under this gorgeous beach and shell themed fabric. The underside has been finished with a fabric dust cover.

I love all our lakes and our Great Lakes here in SW Michigan. This chair is perfect for a lake home, a southern winter getaway home or for someone who just loves the beach.

This is one of my absolute favorite papers by WhimsyKel Designs 😻

There is a lot going on with this dresser! The top was sanded and cleaned and I did 2 coats of walnut No Pain Gel Stain by Dixie Belle Paint Company.

Using a heat gun I removed a few stickers. Cleaned with white lightning, sanded, and did a few repairs with Mud. Two coats of white bonding boss to block stains giving it 24 hours to dry and work its magic. Then using clear satin coat I applied the paper to the front of the dresser. After letting that dry 24 hours I used 2 different stencils and a sea sponge to add the raised stencil and texture. Letting that dry overnight

The sides were painted with a base of CMP Aubergine. A rich eggplant color. Then using CMP Rusty Nail I dry brushed over the texture and raised stencils. Coming back over with another coat of Aubergine and blotting with damp towels so the red of the rusty nail quietly peeks out. Finishing with a coat of gold glimmer glaze.

Using a variety of colors I blended the papers design and highlighted the raised texture. Adding a touch of gold glimmer to the drawers as well.

The k***s are the original wood k***s I painted with Gold Digger metallic paint and I filled the centers with tinted resin to give a bit of a jewel effect.

The drawer boxes were reconditioned with Big Mama’s Butta orange grove scent. Everything was given 2 coats of satin clear coat.

Ready for a new forever home!

Hi friends!! It’s been a while since I’ve shared a piece! Apologies! Grateful you are still here! Your continued support means so much to me ❤️

This dresser had some discoloration and needed some heavy sanding. I wasn’t able to salvage the veneer. I still wanted a wood grain finish for the top. So I created my own! Using Dixie Belle Paint Company CMP pinecone I painted the base. For the next step I used van d**e brown glaze and the wood graining tool to create a faux wood grain. No pain gel stain in walnut over the wood grain finish added depth. And finished with 2 coats of satin clear coat followed by 2 coats of gatorhide for extra durability 🙌🏻

Using satin clear coat I applied this gorgeous decopauge paper from MINT by michelle. I absolutely LOVE this design 😍. Silk paint in glacier is the perfect shade to compliment the floral design. The edges of the drawer are finished with gold guilding wax

Amazing casting resin and a mould from redesign with prima were used to create the decorative trim to add interest. And for the final touch my favorite glass k***s 🤩

Im going to have to make a similar piece for myself!! I am obsessed with this paper!
