Banger to start out 2026 snapper season with my boys at Thompson hunting lodge on a 6hr! Rowdy ride out paid off with snapper up to almost 19lbs and plenty of tasty morsels.

Fished a multi boat with straight killers out of Billings bait stand Robert Carr and Dillon Beck. Left the dock at 6:30 had our limits of trout by 7:03 and limits of drum by 8:26 then went 3-6 on rojos on my boat. Fishing is as good as it gets down here right now. Couple days left to close and June and 5 in July.

Had the pleasure of taking this couple
That proudly served for us in the Air Force this Memorial Day! Couldn’t have worked out better for them. They caught keeper trout every cast for a solid hour and a half then went an put a hurting on one of the biggest schools of drum I’ve ever seen.

Thank you to all the service men and woman out there to let us live the life we do!

Still have plenty of bay and offshore afternoon trips left. Got a hand full of mornings in July and about 10 days In August let’s make some memories and a pile of fish.
