Week 3 performance review.

Agnes isn’t great with coworkers, productivity remains questionable, her skills with tools are nonexistent, and her ability to stay awake during meetings is downright embarrassing.

But her cuteness and pup-ularity with the crew is through the roof.

Three weeks in, and Agnes has learned an important lesson about woodworking:

Measure twice. Cut once. Nap whenever possible.

We have done several pie safes for this customer. She wanted our signature Heirloom Weathering finish on this one. She is just using this one as a display piece and didn’t want the drawers rebuilt. Springhouse Woodworking was happy to do it!

This week in the shop we finished up the companion piece to the maple dining room table that we did last week. Hopefully the customers will enjoy this family piece in their new home for years to come.

We were asked to restore this church window for the Harrison-Bruce Historical Village at John A Logan college. We were happy to donate our efforts. It’s a great place to visit if you ever get a chance!

After many years of use by the family, this Tell City Maple dining room table needed some work and a new finish. Springhouse Woodworking was happy to help!

This customer asked us to build a set of custom shelves to accent their new fireplace and stone work. The shelves are made from reclaimed walnut and feature adjustable shelves.

This customer wanted to turn a trap stock into a regular upland stock. We removed some wood and refinished it for them. We love how it turned out!
