Springhouse Woodworking was honored to create a one of a kind bench to donate for auction at the Survivor Empowerment Center Taste Of Chocolate fundraiser event this month. This bench is a custom hand carved bench using the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique where the wood is charred, sanded and coated with lacquer for a unique look. We were proud to support the center and the amazing work they do with survivors.

Pictured are SEC board member Esther, SEC Chief Executive Officer Angela, Springhouse Woodworking owner Paul, and the auction winner.

Our customer is the third generation owner of this radio. He has many fond memories of listening to it as a boy with his grandfather. We spruced it up to make it look like new again.

This customer asked us to build a set of custom shelves to accent their new fireplace and stone work. The shelves are made from reclaimed walnut and feature adjustable shelves.
