Xan here: I finished the vintage telephone bench! It’s painted with All-in-One paint in the Cappuccino shade, a light beige. It’s covered with a new colorful floral upholstery fabric with new cushion foam. Its measurements are 26.25 inches long, 19 inches deep, 31 inches from floor to the top of the back. The seat is 19 inches high. $120

Jessica here… I’ve been dabbling in some refurbishment these past few weeks. This little solid-wood desk Rodney picked up months ago “spoke” to me, so I got to work on it. I had the perfect chair already. Used the navy blue “Polo” from the All-in-one paint collection. Love the smooth finish. The dimensions are 40” wide, 20” deep and 30” tall. Seven drawers, each lined with navy blue vinyl. I kept some of the “character” left behind by previous owners… this set is perfect for your young artist/student. $150. (Side note: I’ll be in Pike County for Thanksgiving next week if that’s helpful). Included a “during” pic… of course I forgot to take a “before,” but I promise it has been quite the transformation!

Xan here: Taking over the furniture business! Now that dad is settled in his new job in Arizona, he won’t be able to do the projects many of you have seen of his. However, I will be fixing and finishing little projects of my own. Starting with this “Vintage Telephone Bench” found at Warehouse Antique Mall - Marion, IL. More pics coming soon!

It’s been a busy, hot summer, so my time in the workshop has been limited. But I finished this dining set this weekend and it’s ready to go to its new home!

Junque!!! Perfect for your farmhouse decor and so functional! This solid-wood (heavy and sturdy!) dining table base and 4 chairs are hand-painted in a durable, creamy white cabinet paint. The table top has been stripped, sanded and refinished in a beautiful dark walnut stain and sealed with polyurethane. Chairs are updated with blue and white patterned upholstery fabric. Table dimensions are 30 inches tall by 42 inches wide. $350
