When it comes to bay window/ custom seat cushions, there are some cheaper and honestly, decent options compared to us. For a lot of people, these options are the right call.

But if you care about exact measurements, seat firmness that holds up over time, an upholstery you love and having someone accountable if it just doesn’t fit right, we could be the better fit for you.

None of this makes the cheaper option wrong, it just means you’re paying for a different set of priorities.

Our client tried the cheaper route first. It wasn’t a bad decision, it just wasn’t optimised for her. That’s why she came to us.

We don’t usually get many orders using red upholstery but if we meet the right client and the right space, the colour can be especially energising.

In this banquette project, our client wanted red velvet as the main character, not just an accent. Velvet, being soft, also added intimacy and cosiness to this dining nook.

We think it’s an apt material for this odd corner space

Originally designated as a clutter shelf, the bay window now carries a quarter of our client’s mattress.

The audacity of a bay window in Singapore to charge you full PSF and do absolutely nothing 😤

So 𝐓𝐲𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐞𝐫 DISRUPT DESIGN and us, we gave this particular architectural annoyance a job (actually, two)

Job 1: Hold up our client’s mattress together with a custom bed frame
Job 2: Justify copious drawer storage underneath the bed. Because if you’re already that tall, you might as well be useful about it.

We also designed weighted backrests to moonlight as a headboard placed on the bay window.

At least now, this reformed bay window is no longer freeloading and finally earning its keep.

Storage beds may give you space to hide your clutter but not a system. With a system, you get defined zones with things sorted by category so that you know exactly where your things are, by reflex. That’s the whole idea behind our Rollout storage bed with one drawer, one category of things. (If you’re a pro organiser, you can create more zones within each drawer!)

The Rollout storage bed is available in our studio shop as a display for you to explore once you’re ready to get organised with us. Walk ins are welcome but studio appointments get all our attention!

Meet the Rollout - a storage bed we designed for daily access. Unlike hydraulic, lift up style storage beds (Like our Tidy), which stores more, the Rollout uses drawers that glide open.

And instead of one big storage void, the Rollout gets defined drawers to help you get started with organising your things.

The other thing we love is that these drawers roll out completely away from the bed frame. This means that you can clean the floor underneath instead of it becoming a sealed dust trap.

More storage isn’t the same as more organised. The Rollout gives you both.

The Folio headboard was designed to solve a bedside problem. Many bedside tables are either too big or too small to be useful. Instead of adding another nightstand to the room, the Folio headboard has a built in ledge, sandwiched between two upholstered panels to hold your bedtime routine.

Customisable dimensions, panel colours and even a built in power outlet on request. Swipe to see the problem we set out to fix!

We’ve a new headboard design with a built in bedside table: The Folio Headboard!

The Folio features a recessed ledge sandwiched between two upholstered panels, giving you a space for your phone, a book, glasses or your favourite balm without needing a separate bedside table.

If you’re short on space, don’t want clutter on your nightstand or just can’t find a side table that fits your room, the Folio headboard is designed to solve that.

Every once in a while, we get a fabric request from designers (not all of you though!) asking for something other than colour or texture.

No “shine” please.

Synthetic fibres like polyester are engineered to be perfectly round which is exactly what makes them reflect light and look “manufactured.”

Natural fibres like cotton, linen, and wool are imperfect by nature, scattering light instead of bouncing it which is why they read as matte, and matte reads as luxury. No coincidence that natural fibre fabric are also more expensive.
