Esri Singapore was honoured to join International Maritime Geospatial Forum 2026, organised by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.

Our Solutions Consultant, Kai Ying Lau, took part in the Expert Panel: Geospatial in Maritime Operations, sharing how combining GIS, satellite imagery, and sensor data can help unlock real-time insights and support smarter decision-making across the maritime sector.

Empowering future civil engineers with GIS (Geographic Information Systems) 🚧🌏
Over three mornings, we partnered with Singapore Polytechnic (SP) to deliver a GIS Awareness Workshop for Year 1 Diploma in Civil Engineering students for their Geomatics module .

Across three interactive morning sessions, students explored how geospatial technology is shaping real-world outcomes in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry.

Here's what they discovered:
🔹How GIS fits into civil engineering and infrastructure planning
🔹Hands-on experience with GIS tools and modern data collection workflows
🔹How automated analysis in ArcGIS can help visualise and assess construction possibilities before breaking ground

It was inspiring to see such curiosity and enthusiasm from the next generation of engineers 👏
