Tinkd Makerspace Tinkd makerspace is a STEM Wana Trust project. We provide the tools & equipment, you bring the ideas! Sign up for membership and book via the website.

Maker sessions: Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 5pm-8pm, Sundays 9am-12pm. FREE Tours available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6pm and Sundays at 10am. Book a tour ticket via the website.

What an incredible turnout at Saturday's Repair Café! Thanks to our amazing volunteer repairers and community supporters. In fact, bookings were so popular that we had to close them a week before the day!

Got something broken that's too good to throw away? Good news — bookings are now open for our next Repair Café!

🛠️ Saturday 27 June
⏰ 9:30am – 11:30am
📍 Tinkd Makerspace, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga
Our skilled volunteer repairers can assess:

🧸 Toys
👕 Clothing and textiles
🔧 Small electrical items
🪑 Small furniture
🏠 Household items
🪵 Wooden items

How it works:
1️⃣ Book your item for assessment at tinkd.nz and tell us what's wrong.
2️⃣ Bring your item along on the day.
3️⃣ Meet with a volunteer repairer and see if we can give it a new lease on life!
☕ While you wait, enjoy a delicious coffee and a treat for a koha.
Together, we're keeping valuable items out of landfill and building a more sustainable Tauranga, one repair at a time. ♻️

The countdown is on for another Repair Café.

We have some interesting items that are broken or faulty heading our way for assessment. Our aim is to repair and fix to divert from landfill and give things a second life.

Still tinkering with the idea of coming down? Book in today before it is too late.

The next Repair Café will be on Saturday 30th May from 9:30am until 11:30am. Our volunteer repairers can assess toys, clothing, small furniture, household items, small electrical items, and wooden items! 🚲

1. Book in your item for assessment (via the website: tinkd.nz) and tell us what's wrong.
2. Come along on the day with your item at Tinkd Makerspace, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga.
3. Meet a volunteer repairer and let's see if we can give that broken item a new lease of life.
