Gazing outward with fervent gaze, an early 20th Century life-size bronze bust of Giuliano deโ Medici, younger brother of Lorenzo the Magnificent, and cast after Michelangeloโs celebrated original. The sculpture is raised upon one of a pair of substantial 19th Century French painted wooden pedestals of architectural rectangular form, each with a broad moulded top, fielded front, and deep plinth base.

Set against walls in Chatsworth Cream, an elegant late 19th Century French draperโs table, painted in a soft, diffused black, provides an elegant focal point. Resting upon it is a late 19th Century French alabaster and ormolu-mounted tazza, its shallow circular bowl encircled by gilt bronze and fitted with opposing mask handles. Beside it sit two wonderfully whimsical and beautifully modelled 19th Century terracotta monkeys, charmingly posed and attributed to Maison Giscard of Toulouse.
Suspended above is a striking and rare pair of 17th Century Italian Renaissance silk panels, likely originating from Venice or the Veneto region. Rich metal thread brocade is woven against a cerise silk ground with overlapping and interlacing foliate motifs. Nearby, a large-scale framed oil on board depicting flowers in a vase introduces jewel-like colour and bold, expressive brushwork. Taking centre stage is an elegant set of six 19th Century French wrought-iron garden armchairs, with graceful sabre legs, delicate curves and retaining their original weathered white painted finish.
