An heirloom antique chaise beautifully restored by for a client whose home I'm designing. All the old stain was carefully sanded back to reveal the natural wood which was then finished with wax. Brass beading and a plain stone- coloured velvet keeps the focus on the carvings.

A few pics from Rome. The Pantheon was my favourite. Nearly 2,000 years old and built to last an eternity. I loved gazing at the perfection of the concrete ceiling coffers, so did Ariana. I loved the gold and burgandy marble floor and I took so many close up photos of the floor but I didn't post for fear of boring you all!

Our apartment had a sculpural plaque of angels on the facade which I thought was cute. Loved the Egyptian collections. Was impressed by a ni**le carved in granite!

I loved seeing the Caravaggios and eating pasta๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅ‚

Last Light, Neist Point. A new oil painting of the the Skye landmark where my clients for engaged. This painting is going in their bedroom and the colours have been designed around the room so it feels part of the interior design. Check out my story to see more about the process of how I did it.

The bedroom is being painted in my Sandstone paint colour, part of my new paint colour collectoon. Then we'll get the painting hung. I met this client for a colour and art consultation. I've picked paint colours for the full house from my new Quiet Earth collection (more on that soon).

But in the meantime, this painting commission is now ready for the framers.

I've just finished a new, bespoke commission; 'Last Light, Weymouth Harbour'.

This is a detailed and atmospheric painting in oil for my client's new holiday home in Weymouth which I've designed for her. Can't wait to see it in-situ, in the living room.

Lots of warmth and glowing lights, it's a cosy scene which is very personalised and full of detail.

This is an upcycled kitchen. Same cabinets and worktop but with a new, glowing interior design scheme. Swipe to see before pictures.

The cabinets were painted in a soft white by and I picked beautiful statement bronze handles and brushed gold mosaic tiles for a new splashback. New pendant lighting and an alabaster and antique brass wall light create a warmer space and a textured brass mirror to reflect the room.

Soft tan leather bar stools soften the look and add more colour and texture.

A finishing touch was this gorgeous cermaic vase and floral arrangement.

A short but sweet trip up to the beautiful island of Skye to see . Yesterday I went to to discuss a new art project for their recently renovated Beacon cottages. I picked the colour and wallpaper scheme for the guest bathrooms of these twin cottages a few months ago and it was great to see this completed. We used Spar Cave paint by on the panelling with a soft pink called Pride of Summer on the walls and a feature wallpaper of the Trotternish Ridge landscape I painted as part of 's wall mural collection.

I now need to get my thinking cap on for a bespoke art project for these cottages. Very exciting!

I also visited the owners of (which has the most stunning seaside views) for a colour consultation for one of the cottages being renovated and we picked a gorgeous scheme of colours to create a restful interior scheme with linen and lichen earthy tones.

Lots of driving about the island which is a joy in weather like this, and a swim at Staffin beach in the afternoon was gorgeous.

Heading back to Glasgow now...
