It’s been quite a month, so here’s a little roundup of what we’ve been up to. 🙌
Life lately at the design studio has been a mix of fast-paced creativity and those quieter moments of refinement, where every tiny detail suddenly feels very important. It’s in these in-between spaces that the magic really happens, when rough concepts slowly evolve into something we’re genuinely proud of.
Our Elgin Project, Seattle Project and Coachouse projects are all now onsite, which means things are officially getting busy and a little bit exciting. We honestly can’t wait to share these with you. We also have two more projects gearing up to start onsite soon, our Westend and Southside projects, both a little closer to home, which always feels extra special.
We were also out filming with Richard for our new website and some ‘behind the scenes’ videos. It’s safe to say we’re all a bit camera shy (putting it mildly), but having someone so brilliant at capturing scenes and helping us tell our story, has made it such a fun experience. Expect a few awkward smiles but alot of laughter.
I’m just back from a sourcing trip, to find some vintage rugs with a good friend who used to be a buyer for M&S. She has so much experience with these trips, so having her there was like having a secret weapon. It turned out to be very successful, where we met some genuinely lovely people, who were incredibly helpful and more importantly I found some amazing rugs for our projects. They’re currently on their way to us and can’t wait to receive them.
Nicole, Stephanie and I also popped along to the ‘Parmesan and Prosecco’ night, which is as good as it sounds. It was also lovely to catch up with some familiar faces in the industry.
Sammy spent the day in the office today. He’s a lot more settled now and has very quickly worked out who the soft touch is and who’s most likely to give him a treat. He’s not daft!
Tomorrow I’m off to my folks for the Easter break.
Whatever you have planned for the Easter break, I hope you have a good one. 🐣
