Thorup Copenhagen is a Danish design brand, specialising in furniture, lighting and objects for a conscious audience.

Thorup merges aesthetics, functionality and high-quality to support the lifespan of his design. Founder and designer Kasper Thorup holds a Master’s Degree in Furniture Design from KADK, the Royal Danish Academy of Architecture, Design and Conservation (2017) and has, in the past year, received great acknowledgement for his work.

Who we are.

Studio Thorup Copenhagen is a Danish furniture brand established in 2017 by designer Kasper Thorup.

Thorup holds a Master Degree in Furniture Design from KADK, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation (2017) and has recently gained great acknowledgment with his latest works.

With attention to materials and uncompromising quality, Thorup explores classical notions about common furniture and creates objects with the purpose to inspire people and contribute to a refined everyday living.. Kasper works with solid and natural materials, with a simplistic design language, focusing on showing the essence of the material in its simplicity.
