A time when Sibast had already travelled far beyond Denmark.

From Denmark to the world.

Arne Vodder’s designs became part of an extraordinary international chapter in Danish design history.

His furniture was delivered to President Jimmy Carter in the White House, Pope Paul VI in Rome and the United Nations office in Geneva. His designs also found their way into offices, embassies, airlines and hotels around the world.

At the same time, the wider Sibast collection was reaching distinguished international interiors — a story that helped establish Danish craftsmanship and furniture design far beyond Denmark’s borders.

What began through Danish craftsmanship and the close design dialogue between Arne Vodder and Sibast became part of the international story of Danish Modern.

A remarkable legacy that continues to resonate today.

In the dining room, raw concrete continues to set the architectural tone, balanced by warm materials, soft textures and carefully selected design pieces.
The Sibast No 8 Dining Chair becomes part of this considered interior — its sculptural silhouette and crafted details adding warmth and character to the space without taking away from the calm expression of the home.
