LOB UP. a collection of prototypes. The one with the white padded top is the first working iteration I made about 20years ago. The 680 high one is behind that. The 750 high version to its right. The backrest prototype in front. Speaking with my industrial designer about an improvement that will ensure generational longevity of the piece. Eliminating a minor issue that develops over time with repeated use. Product development never really ends. There is always a better way.

LOB UP. Prototype height, 680mm. When gluing up it is critical that the width at the hinge end is the same as the base end that contacts the floor. 242mm is the measurement here, not more, not less. Accuracy matters.

Remaking the story sticks for my LOB UP stools. Three heights here including the new prototype height of 680mm. The previous story sticks will be destroyed when I am done. The second shot is of a repaired hinge mortise. I overcut due to not having a clamp properly secured. No problems, only solutions. Enjoy your day.
