Day one at Orgatec, Cologne. Kokuyo is live.
Their seating rests on four ideas: hold the spine’s S-curve, fit the body, keep the sitter moving, and spread pressure so it does not pin one place.
Ing Cloud takes that further. A 3D Ultra Auto Fit Mechanism pairs with a 3D Hammock Mesh back — no rigid side frames. The mesh wraps the torso, frees the arms, and supports the lumbar from both sides. Pressure spreads. The chair follows every shift. The work stays clear.
Duora 2 steadies the pelvis through lean, upright and recline, so the day can change without the chair fighting it.

An inspiring evening last night supporting the next wave of design talent at the QCAD Griffith University South Bank Grad Show.
It was a privilege to sit on the judging panel for the student pitch battle. Watching three emerging designers present their concepts with such clarity, passion, and fresh perspective was a fantastic reminder of where our industry is headed.
To mark the occasion, ideare and KOKUYO Australia were proud to donate a Kokuyo Hug Knit chair to one of the graduates in recognition of her outstanding commitment to Interior Design.

Huge thanks to Scott Bagnell and Petra Perolini for inviting us to be part of such a great night celebrating local creativity and future industry leaders.
