Here’s a conversation I had with a friend I visited recently (paraphrased).

Me: Do you have a Colander?

T: A what?

Me: The bowl thingy with the holes for straining stuff.

T: Oh, that! Well I use the microwave food cover instead. It’s got holes, works perfectly!

Me: 😂 I’m buying you a colander.

T: Please add a peeler to your list while you’re at it.

Me: Wow.
