Design Tobias My belief is simple. To create the art in furniture that I love and enjoy.

My vision is to design and create one-of-a-kind furniture that doesn’t just fill a space, but transforms it into something beautiful.

Introducing L'Atelier.

Designed for artists, makers and creators, L'Atelier is a chair that belongs in the workshop as much as it does in a refined interior.

Inspired by the French word for "workshop", it celebrates the craft behind its creation from the custom welded steel frame to the carefully shaped multi-layer comfort system.

Clean industrial lines meet understated luxury, creating a statement piece that brings comfort, creativity and craftsmanship into your personal studio.

Less can often say more.

Looking back at this photo of the original Camillo sofa, I notice something interesting. At the time, I enjoyed filling a space with layers of cushions, textures, and details. Today, my design style has shifted in a different direction.

Over the years, I have found myself leaning more and more towards minimalism. Not empty spaces, but intentional spaces. Fewer elements, stronger forms, cleaner lines, and allowing the design itself to become the focal point.

As a designer, your style is never fixed. It evolves with every project, every mistake, and every lesson learned along the way.

What once felt complete can become the starting point for a new way of thinking.

Sometimes, the biggest design statement is knowing what to leave out.

What is so important about the back of a chair? Everything you can't see.

I’ve been alternating between easy curve and a double fold to hide the staples at the back of my designs. Easy curve or metal strips tend to leave an uneven edge with thin material. With a double fold, a perfect straight edge is always created.

Perfection from every single angle.

The chair reveals itself through what you feel, see, and hear.
The weight | The sound of the steel | The solid, grounded feeling when you sit.

That is immediate experience before anything is explained.
Edmund Husserl captured it simply: “Back to the things themselves.” Meaning stop overthinking design. Stop leading with specs and measurements.

The return of the Camillo Sofa.

What began as an original design is now inspiring a new chapter: the Camilla Glacier. Re-engineered for greater comfort, refined style, and a truly unique presence, this piece aims to blur the line between furniture and art. Watch this space as the next evolution of this design comes to life.
