The Hamba Handle Lock is an easily installed DIY device that can increase the level of security for all standard 2, 3 and 4 lever door locks by preventing the handle from moving down to open. The Hamba would normally be mounted on the inside, giving you the added security, its main function is to buy you time by preventing someone coming in from outside. Once activated, it also prevents a key from being inserted into the side that has the Hamba installed, creating “dual” control over the door locking process. As it can be installed inside or outside it’s ideal for kitchen, laundry and outbuilding doors but can also be used for additional security on bedroom and passage doors.
The electro plated Hamba comes in “left” and “right” hand, depending on the application and is packaged complete with installation instructions, 1x 32mm padlock and 2x self-tapping screws used to secure the Hamba once installed behind the handle.
Installation should take no longer than 5 minutes with only a screwdriver required.
NOTE: We recommend that +/- 70MM long 4mm bolts and nuts be used for outside applications.
