Franzsen is based in Paarl, with a small team of artisanal cabinet makers using traditional techniques to produce eclectic and artistic furniture and kitchens using solid woods. The Team is led by Ichbert Franzsen, whose commitment to attention to detail, quality control and through perseverance has built a lasting company which is still growing today. Ichbert has spent many years in the industry,

ensuring Franzsen Quality Wood Projects upholds the professional benchmarks of service and quality. There is no limit to the scale nor type of projects Franzsen is willing to undertake. To Date they have made everything from solid wood cutting boards to designing luxury furniture at Vrede & Lust. The Franzsen team works with each client individually, developing a personalised design that exudes class through quality. Our approach is expressed in our designs, reflecting individual style while showcasing the character of solid wood. Our designs have included classic, rustic, modern and even contemporary design, but always showcasing the beauty of the solid wood finishes.
