This cute antique chair's wooden frame was completely stripped, sanded and stained in a red chestnut by its owner then, given to me for the seat to be stripped and hand weaved with cane. The outcome is stunning as the cane blends really well with the newly stained wood frame. Great piece for any home decor!

Hoping all are well and safe from H.Fiona! I, for one, have been out of power for a week and am so grateful for the continual support from the engineers and linesmen who did not stop - 24/7 - even on a public holiday to get me and my community restored with power as soon as possible.

This gorgeous modern rocker was great to see back in its glory and prime position once again, in my client's home. Modern piece for sure but still worth the upholstery work! Great choice in fabric too for their coastal decor.

Its not all about the grand piece you know! The little things matter too ..... cushions!! We all need cushions to finish off our furniture! Remember, a good cushion under the derrière is nothing more than shear bliss!

Not sure if you guys got to see this little funky slipper chair. It was the most sad little chair in need of some good old fashion upholstery attention! My client had a vision for her, she wanted dramatic teal and so .... dah!! daaah!!

Not only was the inners of this little love completely gutted and replaced with new springs, paddings and of course, this vibrant fabric but she also had all her wood frame stripped, repaired, sanded and painted in a matching shade of teal to the fabric.

She now resides at my client's home, on the stairway landing fully open for all to see!

It is about time that I got to grips with this "social media" and join the masses! To kick off with a post, I am thrilled to share this upholstery project recently completed for a customer. The pieces have an emotional attachment to her and, to say the least, she was ecstatic when she took delivery is an understatement! :-) Heck! ... I'm ecstatic!! It is a gorgeous update with this lush soft jewel blue fabric.

Tearing down a piece of furniture is one of the most rewarding tasks for me! Getting rid of the bad! The smelly!! The old!! Making way for the good stuff! The lush! The new!

And... as a bonus, I get to find all sorts of 'lost' treasures too. If only these could talk!! 🤣🤣🤣 Today has been my biggest find so far! The funniest item is the tiny troll gonk and the most scariest was finding the rubber green snake!! 🤣 Can you find them in the photo here?

Remember these?!!! The dining table had been completely refurbished from tip to toe and then, there were the four dining chairs to do as well. The chairs are so unique it was worth the investment!

These were completely stripped to their wood as the paint was very old, thick acrylic and had yellowed terribly plus, of course, no longer fitted into their new home decor!

They were to match the dining table. Subtle touches of gold trimming added and reupholstered seats with new inlay and gorgeous fabric tastefully chosen by my client to compliment her readily contemporary styled home.

They were christened in time for the New Year for her first dinner party at her new home! Great to know for this suite refurbish, new memories begin!

At last!! .... with so much bad weathers she has made it home between our rainstorms and snowstorms!

This sofa bed couch is ready to start a new fresh lifespan with its owner. She is thrilled with the outcome and so happy to have her sofa bed couch back in a better state than it was before!

Just love it when a plan comes together!!
