Have you needed customized furniture and you approached a manufacturer and was told to go to the internet and download a, photo of something then send the manufacturer the photo and they will manufacture it for you.
Pros and Cons
1: It doesn't give the manufacturer much added work.
2: A picture maybe easier mode to a carpenter that doesn't want to apply their knowledge to coming up with product.
3: A picture doesn't detail or show the material underneath the product is made, it durability or longevity.
Cons
1: Every individual is different and a furniture picture 📸 may look nice but not speak and identify with who you are. It was probably originally designed for a particular circumstance, fo and to identify with a particular person. Therefore the advantage of having furniture specifically 😎 designed for you. You can get ideas 💡 from various sources and have created something manufactured to speak and suit you and your personality. For example other people need their headboards to have Cellular Phone , Tablets or even Laptop charging ports and therefore request the manufacturer to incorporate them into the design 😀.
2: Raw materials quality is, important and a picture 📸 alone can not show you, the wood frame your product is made out of. Is it made of Soft pine, Saligna or any hard wood 🪵 ? Is the raw timber type dry or wet when the manufacturing process takes place ? What is the avarage durability of the material based on the users? Why ? Easy answer is a couch 🛋 being made to seat on avarage 46 kg persons can not be made of the same material as a couch to seat on avarage 100 kg or above persons. A person can be 46kg but they have dog 🐕 that weighs more than them and seats on the couch. A picture 📸 can not determine all those factors. You need a designed product, with all such factors taken in consideration. If a couch 🛋 you can have frame made with material to last you 15 years and all you need change is upholstery.
