This look was inspired by the character “Karen Sirko” from Daisy Jones & the Six played by Suki Waterhouse. We just finished watching the series on Prime and I’m obsessed! I read the book by Genius author Taylor Jenkins Reid last year, it was a great read & really difficult to understand how this was not a real band that existed but the series just brought the book to life.

So besides the fact that I have their songs stuck in my head on repeat, I’ve now been influenced by that cool girl ‘70s style too. Next we’ll try to do her black liner! It’s a fun challenge for stylists to try recreate looks. Should I do a whole video?

I finally bought a Tangle Teezer! I’ve wanted one for ages because they really are the best brushes for detangling & brushing (especially kids’ hair!)
But it definitely helps that I found it for only R229 at Discount My Fashion

I also picked up these Invisibobble Hair ties from Discount My Fashion These are great for tying your hair up without getting kinks. It’s R59 for a box of 3!

I went Treasure Hunting at Discount My Fashion and I couldn’t believe the designer brands that I found!
Their stores are filled with racks & rails of imported brand wear - who knows the treasures you’ll find!

I found this dress from brand iBlues for R699 & this Wool Blazer from Madame Vestiaire for R499.

🚨Breaking NEWS🚨 Edgars have closed their Rosebank Mall store.
It’s no secret that Edcon has been struggling financially the past few years. They have been reducing their footprint by minimising their rental space as well as letting go of in-house brands.
But this is their first large retail location to close in a large mall.

The Rosebank closure is one of the first Edgars outlets to shut its doors in a high-end mall
