Part 1 of this series.
Earlier this year, I was commissioned to create a one-of-a-kind art installation for the iconic One&Only Hotel at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.

The process spanned weeks, carefully sourcing the right wood, testing and refining pigment tones to echo the depth of red wine, and solving challenges along the way. Long days, tight deadlines, and unpredictable weather were all part of bringing this vision to life.

The final pieces were designed exclusively for the hotel’s new wine experience room at Nobu.

A river table designed to flow with this owner's elegant home, but family lifestyle.

The challenge? Creating a luxury table fit for a family home. We created this piece with a full bullnose edge for a smooth, child-friendly finish, paired it with laser cut ultra-modern gold legs, and completed it with a frosted resin surface designed to discreetly conceal everyday scratches.

Turned out to be one of our all-time favourite builds 🔥

2 weeks ago we competed live at the Woodex event in Johannesburg, which was pressure-filled and exciting to say the least. Delivered to Impress. We’ve completed an exciting project for one of Patel Group's boardrooms in Nelspruit, and this one’s a showstopper.

This 14 seater blue epoxy boardroom table is more than just a table – it’s a centerpiece that turns heads and sparks conversations. We had to pre-plan quite a bit before prepping the wood and casting the resin, as this table needed specific plug points inserted and hidden cabling through the legs. We designed, we executed and now Mpumalanga proudly has another HOM table.
