🚨🚨BENONI: TWO GAUTENG TRAFFIC WARDENS ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED EXTORTION AND POSSESSION OF SUSPICIOUS DOCUMENTS😳

It is alleged that two members of the Gauteng Traffic Wardens approached a woman who works as a domestic helper at the gate of her workplace in Benoni.

The officers allegedly requested her identification and immigration documents. When the woman was unable to provide proof that she was legally in South Africa, the officers allegedly offered to release her in exchange for R4,000.

The victim informed the officers that she did not have cash with her but had money in her bank account. She was then accompanied by the two officers to a nearby ATM, where she withdrew R4,000 and allegedly handed the money over to them. The officers then dropped her off and left the area.

The victim immediately informed her employer about the incident. Her employer then accompanied her to the Benoni Police Station, where a criminal case was opened. The victim provided police with a description of the vehicle and its registration number.

The information was circulated among law enforcement agencies operating in the area.

A vehicle matching the description provided by the victim was later spotted on Tom Jones Street. Members of SAPS Norkem Park, assisted by private security companies, stopped the vehicle.

During a search of the vehicle, officers discovered several foreign passports. When questioned about the passports, the suspects were reportedly unable to provide a satisfactory explanation.

Further checks were conducted on the vehicle. Authorities allegedly found that the licence disc did not correspond with the vehicle's records on the police and traffic department systems.

The two suspects were subsequently arrested and are expected to appear in court soon.

A tragic incident has left a family searching for answers after a man reportedly collapsed and di£d while walking home from Tsenelong to Ivory Park yesterday.

According to information shared by his partner, CCTV footage allegedly shows the man leaving a tavern to use the toilet. During that time, one of the men he had been sitting with is suspected of tampering with his beer. Unfortunately, the footage is not clear enough to positively identify the individuals involved.

The dece]£as£d had reportedly gone out with two friends. His partner says both men have her contact details, yet they have not contacted the family and are currently nowhere to be found.

The circumstances surrounding his d£ath remain unclear, and the family is hoping that anyone with information will come forward to assist authorities with their investigation.

May his soul rip, and may the truth come to light.

A heartbreaking tragedy has left a family mourning and a community searching for answers.

Nineteen-year-old Nhlamulo Sambo lost his life in an incident that has sparked conflicting accounts and growing calls for justice.

According to Western Cape police, Nhlamulo and a 15-year-old boy were found inside a shack in KwaNonqaba on 31 May 2026. Police allege that when the shack owner returned home, the younger boy hid under a bed while Nhlamulo fled the scene. The owner reportedly chased him, and the encounter turned fatal. Authorities say the incident is being investigated as a burglary-related death and is not linked to the anti-immigration tensions reported in the area.

However, Nhlamulo's family strongly disputes this version of events. They claim he was asleep at a friend's home before being dragged out and attacked. His family believes he may have been targeted because he spoke Xitsonga and was mistaken for a foreign national amid heightened tensions in the community.

As investigations continue, one fact remains unchanged: a young man has lost his life, a family has been left devastated, and a community is demanding the truth.

Our thoughts are with Nhlamulo's loved ones during this difficult time. May justice prevail, and may the full facts surrounding this tragedy come to light.
