Today marks exactly one year since 35-year-old Lebo Sonwabo Moleli from Soweto disappeared. He was last seen on 28 August 2025, when CCTV showed him entering Respublica Princeton Village in Glen Austin, Midrand, to visit his girlfriend. The cameras reportedly never showed him leaving the student residence.
His family has spent the past year searching for answers. They have searched hospitals and mortuaries and have been waiting for information from the police investigation. Police reportedly took servers containing CCTV footage, while people connected to the case were also questioned. Despite all these efforts, Lebo has still not been found, and police say there is currently no new update.
It has been one full year without Lebo, and his family still does not know what happened to him. The police case remains open, and his family is asking people to keep sharing his picture and report any information that could help find him.
