Taking in as much warmth and beauty I can hold before I head back to Cape Town and that whole different reality… The Serengeti has a special place in my heart, I’ve loved and grieved here deeply. Some of the best memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life. How did I get so fortunate to have this experience repeatedly..!!!?

Said farewell to the young men this morning. Both worked hard and achieved great things. Left the city as boys and after a few weeks in the bush, faced with a huge task at hand and lions, elephants, rhino, crocs, hippos and more… They return home as young men with big stories to tell. Very proud of them.!!!

The Rock’s in their new Heritage home 🙏 Living in a building that’s over 200 years old, made from Rocks and clay, huge wooden Beams from a shipwreck and more, is a true honor. I asked the universe for a Hermitage in the mountains away from other people so I can heal my heart… Oh man did I get what I asked for and more… Gratitude has no limits to how I feel held and supported..!!! Let the healing begin 🖤

That time I drove thru Maasai heartland to a volcano and chilled out at lake Natron… was also when I was well fed and well tanned 😎 living and working in the bush whilst the rest of the world was in Lockdown 2020… Was tougher than you can imagine..!
