We are a family-focused furniture design studio specialising in handcrafted furniture with refined detailing, timeless character, and enduring personality. Each collection is thoughtfully curated to bring warmth, beauty, and functionality into every stage of family life.
Lifeforce Living was founded during the height of the COVID pandemic by Althea Theron while pregnant and nesting at home. What began as a personal passion project — creating beautiful, practical pieces for her own growing family — quickly evolved into a family-run business designing furniture for babies, toddlers, children, teens, and adults alike.
Today, every piece is still crafted with the same intention and care.
We combine traditional joinery techniques with modern manufacturing technology to create heirloom-quality furniture designed to stand the test of time. From solid wood craftsmanship to carefully considered finishes and materials, every detail is selected with longevity, functionality, and aesthetics in mind.
Sustainability and safety remain central to our philosophy. We use child-friendly, solvent-free paints, sealers, and finishes that are both environmentally conscious and safe for family living.
As a hands-on, family-run business, we remain deeply involved in every stage of the process — from design and production to customer communication and delivery coordination. We believe in honest service, consistent quality, and thoughtful craftsmanship, while always striving to meet delivery timelines without compromising the integrity of our work.
