With the start of a new year it feels appropriate to re-introduce myself 👋
Firstly, thank you for supporting local and journeying with JJ & Mia! It means the world to me 🤍
A bit about our story:
It all started when I was searching for a bib to cope with my son, Joshua James extreme reflux. There was never enough lappies, bibs and dry clothes to keep up.
At the same time, my daughter Mia started grade 1 and all of a sudden I was a teacher, without an income due to lockdown. At this time I started dreaming of the possibilities of a small business and I could not wait for restrictions to start lifting so I could explore the fabric shops and find the right fabric combo for our Super Bibs!
It took quite a few test runs but with the help of a local CMT / grandma, we worked on a design to get the perfect fit, and the rest is history. Since then we have expanded the label to include The Dudu, Snuggles, Swaddles and more.
As a mom who loves to support local, I also found products on my journey that I absolutely love and now include in our offering as they are so versatile, natural and beautiful.
I take absolute joy in meeting new parents at Baby Expo and sharing stories, tips and more on our parenting journeys. None of us are perfect parents, it takes a village and I love being a part of mine!
JJ & Mia is more than just my kids’ names, this business was built from love for them, and one I look forward to growing and nurturing just as my family grows each day!
