Recently attempted to cast a sliver ring as a gift for my wife on our 5th anniversary.
Trying something new is always risky business and in this case I had, at least, 2 days worth of failed attempts. So easy for those failures to put a person off. Though I didn’t get it exactly like I would’ve liked I was so thrilled with the experience of learning with every attempt and the anticipation of opening each mould to see if it worked after correcting the mistakes with the previous attempt. Fear of failure has no place in the creative process.
