I’ve been told that my pictures don’t do the Float Tank justice, it really needs to be experienced in person. So I made this short video tour..
My Personal Testimony:
This Float Tank has given me so much of my life back…
In January 2020 I had a bad fall and knocked myself unconscious and was later diagnosed with a (TBI) Traumatic Brain Injury.
For a long time, I struggled. I tried so many different treatments to heal and improve my quality of life, but nothing seemed to help enough. I started to worry that this was how I would feel forever.
I was in really bad shape. I was dealing with constant pain from the fall, severe anxiety and depression, migraines and countless other challenges. I couldn’t read, write or do simple math. I could barely take care of myself or my home and I wasn’t able to work. I felt trapped in my own mind and body, and I truly believed my life as i knew it was over
The hardest part was knowing my kids had to watch me struggle and go through this! It was by far the worst thing I have ever gone through in my life.
Then someone told me about Floating…
At first I was terrified! After my fall, I had become claustrophobic and was afraid I would panic in the tank. Thankfully, the float tank I used was large so I didn’t feel trapped and the staff made me feel completely safe.
After my very first float, I absolutely loved it! I couldn’t stop thinking about it and how great it felt to float. At the time I couldn’t drive, so I arranged rides to Prince George every couple of weeks just so i could keep floating,
After a few sessions, I started feeling more relaxed, and my panic began to ease. Then, after a few more floats, something incredible happened… I felt like my brain was starting to work again. I could read, write, do math and eventually returned to work. I was so grateful to finally feel like I was getting my life back.
Floating continues to help me manage my pain and gives my brain a calm, peaceful space to rest and heal. It has made an incredible difference in my quality of life and I will always be grateful for it.
I was fortunate enough to purchase a Float Tank and bring it to Lac la Hache so I could share this experience with my community.
We’ve now been open for just over a year, and it's been such a privilege to meet so many wonderful people and watch them on their own healing journeys.
