In 1970, Brionvega received the Compasso d’Oro, an award recognizing the exceptional quality of its production and its commitment to collaborating with the finest Italian designers.
Today, that story comes alive through the heritage of the Brionvega Archive, held by CSAC, and in the exhibition Brionvega. Design & designers.

The Brionvega. Design & designers exhibition explores the dialogue between Brionvega and some of the leading figures of Italian design: Mario Bellini, Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Giancarlo Iliprandi, Bob Noorda, Ettore Sottsass and Sottsass Associati.

Among the pieces on display are the iconic RR 126 fo/st radiogram, designed by the Castiglioni brothers in 1965, and the TVC Memphis I 26”, created in collaboration with Ettore Sottsass Jr. and Sottsass Associati in 1980.

Form, technology and function: a design story that continues to speak to the present.

From September 26 to December 24, 2026, the CSAC – University of Parma hosts Brionvega. Design & designers, an exhibition dedicated to the history of Brionvega and the company's relationship with some of the leading figures of Italian design.
A journey starting from the late 1950s that explores research, innovation, and design culture through more than 100 original works including objects, prototypes, drawings, sketches, advertisements, and photographs.
