Wise Owl Paint facts:

🍀 If you use the Varnish or One Hour Enamel clear on floors, it’s best to avoid the matte finish since years of foot traffic will “polish” the mattifying agents causing certain areas to be shinier. Use satin or semi.

☘️ You should never paint or glaze over wax or salve. It needs to be removed to ensure proper adhesion. The exception to this is if you are using a wax resist method.

☘️ One Hour Enamel is ideal for any surface that is not designed to flex, bend, or swell with water (if used outdoors)
It is a stone hard finish and isn’t stretchy like latex paints. It may also be used on metal.

☘️ Our stain eliminating primer is a binding primer and tannin blocker. Our paints will adhere to anything clean, dry, and dull but the primer gives extra adhesion for a lasting finish and locks in naturally occuring tannins in wood.

☘️ Any of our products may be sprayed. Do not thin the One Hour Enamel , or Varnish with water.
Chalk Synthesis Paint may be thinned a little with water without compromising the strength.

🍀 Never clean a furniture piece with oil soap before painting. The oils will repel the paint and prevent a proper bond.
