Dear all valued EcomSolid's customer

We hope you are all doing great.
We wrote this letter to officially inform you that EcomSolid will have to say goodbye to all customers from January 2023.

It was such a wonderful 3-year journey of product development and customer service. During that time, we have been trying to implement different plans & develop new features to serve our customers with the right values. However, until today, the product performance & market data are indicating that we are not reaching our customers’ needs & the company's expectations at the same time.

Therefore, we regret to inform you that we will officially shut down the EcomSolid App from Jan, 2023. This notification is to let you know that we are ensuring your benefits until our last functioning day.

Our closing roadmap is scheduled as follows :

- October 24th 2022: We have unpublished the app from Shopify App Store to stop acquiring new users.
- January 9th 2023 (estimated): Officially shut down after having worked on the sunsetting process with stakeholders & parties.

*IMPORTANT NOTE during this period* :

1. The app features will remain functioning as normal until Jan 9th 2023 (estimated). After shutting down, live themes will continue to function, but users will not be able to edit their themes and control if any issue occurs.

2. Changes of support services:

- Free plan: LiveChat will not be available, while Email Support will remain functioning. We will make sure to respond within 24-48 hours.
- Paid plan: There will be no more Custom Task (third-party integration and conflicts, custom features/elements, etc.). We will only resolve issues from the EcomSolid app itself. Live Chat will be available from Monday to Friday (9:00AM - 5:00PM, GMT +7).

After EcomSolid is shut down completely, your EcomSolid live theme will remain unchanged. However, the editor will be unavailable for users to edit their theme and resolve any unexpected issues. This means, your website will stay with the latest theme layout permanently. Therefore, we would recommend all users to prepare for the back-up plan to start rebuilding a new theme at the earliest to get ready before we end our service. It is the best solution to manage everything more proactively.

If you are looking for an alternative, you can refer to the Shopify theme : https://themes.shopify.com/, or reach out to the Shopify team for the best advice. Shopify manages the app store, and they should be able to give you more proper solutions.

We are glad to have been nurturing such a strong relationship with all our beloved clients for such a long time, and we would like to thank you all for believing in EcomSolid throughout the journey so far. It was truly an honor for us to be a part of your success. EcomSolid could not have been as successful as it was without your trust and support.

Thank you for being with our company in all its ups and downs. We sincerely hope our decision will be understood by all our well-wishers. Have a successful E-commerce journey ahead!
