combat computing, electronic warfare systems, and missile arsenals into a single platform capable of influencing battlefields far beyond the visible horizon. From these ships emerge weapons like the BGM-109 Tomahawk, missiles capable of traveling more than a thousand miles while navigating mountains, deserts, and coastlines with extraordinary precision before striking their designated targets. Each launch represents not only a tactical strike but also a strategic signal. It demonstrates that distance alone no longer protects military infrastructure, that oceans are no longer barriers to power projection, and that the ability to coordinate information,

From the decks of advanced destroyers and from submerged submarines beneath the surface, vertical launch system hatches opened one after another and missiles ignited with violent bursts of flame, shooting upward before arcing toward the dark horizon. In the opening minutes of the operation, dozens of Tomahawks streaked through the night sky, each programmed with an independent flight path, each carrying a precision warhead aimed at a carefully selected military objective.

Yet the final question remains open: if one major power can deploy forces close to another nation’s strategic resources under the justification of security, will other powers do the same once they acquire similar capabilities? As more countries develop precision-strike weapons and rapid-response forces, chokepoints like the Strait of Hormuz could increasingly become permanent flashpoints of the 21st century. And ultimately, does controlling the world’s “energy arteries” truly guarantee stability, or does it simply bring the global system closer to another cycle of crisis? 🌍⚓🛢️✈️

The Coast Guard has established a new program executive office to accelerate the adoption of uncrewed systems (UxS) in the field as part of its Force Design 2028 modernization efforts. The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Program Executive Office (RAS PEO) will prioritize integrating this rapidly advancing technology, which includes unmanned aircraft (commonly referred to as drones), as well as surface, subsurface, and space systems, across all 11 of its statutory missions. 4. The death of Tangsiri – a powerful blow, but not decisive

Eliminating Alireza Tangsiri is a significant psychological and symbolic strike.

However, it does not completely cripple the IRGC.

That is because the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps operates with a highly decentralized structure:

Units are dispersed
Command is semi-independent
Replacement leaders can be appointed rapidly

PART 4 — TARGETS ACROSS IRAN

Where were these missiles going?

The targets were not random.

They were selected through years of intelligence collection.

The opening waves of Operation Epic Fury focused on four critical categories of targets:

Iranian air defense networks.

Ballistic missile launch infrastructure.

Naval forces threatening the Strait of Hormuz.

And command-and-control facilities used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Many of these targets were deep inside Iranian territory.

Some were located near Tehran.

Others near Isfahan.

Others near underground facilities like Fordow.

Yet distance was irrelevant.

Tomahawk missiles launched from ships in the Persian Gulf or Arabian Sea could reach these locations within roughly one to two hours of flight time.

Wave after wave of missiles arrived almost simultaneously.

Radar sites went silent.

Missile bases erupted in explosions.

Naval vessels were destroyed in port.

By the end of the first phase of the campaign, American commanders reported that thousands of military targets had been struck and dozens of Iranian ships destroyed, dramatically reducing Iran’s ability to project force in the region.

And while Iranian forces attempted retaliation, the technological imbalance on the battlefield was becoming increasingly clear.

Against satellite-guided missiles launched from ships hundreds of miles away, traditional defenses struggled to respond.
