Plywood is the creation of technical wood. This board made from multiple layers of wood veneer arranged perpendicular to each other constantly in the direction of the wood grain per class. These layers glued together with resins such as phenol formaldehyde under the influence of heat and pressure.

Depending on demand, can be classified into many types of plywood. Softwood Plywood made from radiata pine and wood like birch. Hardwood plywood is usually made from wood species such as meranti (also known as mahogany (Mahogany), white fillings, gold fillings, or lauan tree) or birch wood (birch).

Plywood used for outdoor furniture phenol formaldehyde glue is often made of melamine-urea-formaldehyde glue or while plywood for interior furniture glue used lower cost urea-formaldehyde as glue.

Characteristics of plywood that stability, brightness, hardness, resistance to traction, stability against state physics warping, shrinking and twisting.
