We would like to thank Stacye Garnes for hosting the crab feast at her home!!😊 We would also like to thank Louvinia Johnson and Sarah White for helping us set up for the reunion!! We would like to thank the Grill Master Mr. Joe!! He grilled all of the meat and it was delicious!! We would like to thank Cortes Mortis for helping bringing a lot of the food to the park!! Last we would like to thank all of the family members that came out!! We had a great time!! You can start paying your dues for 2016 now. The dues are $40 for the year.

Congrats to Ms. Monique Dortch!! She won the desert contest. Her banana pudding was delicious. She went up against her cousin's Melissa's apple cobbler and her Aunt Jean's rice pudding. Thanks to all who participated!!

If you didn't make it to the 2015 Dortch Family Reunion you missed out on a wonderful family gathering!!! So many family members came out and had a great time!! We laughed, ate, danced, wobbled and had a great time!! Everyone was so happy to see one another!! The food was delicious and the dj kept everyone on the floor!! I tried to get a picture of everyone. Feel free to post your pics and please comment on some of the pics!! We'll be having a fund raiser soon so please check the family page weekly!!😊

We have 2 days until the Family Reunion!!! If you haven't contacted someone on the planning committee you need to contact them ASAP!! We are going to have a ball!! This picture brings back so many memories!! I can remember my grandmother Mittie sitting at her kitchen table preparing for a holiday feast. I used to love to watch her prepare all of the food. Please come out on Sunday so that your children will have fond memories of their family!! See you at the reunion!!😊

I'm so excited about our upcoming Family Seafood Fish Fry!!! If you haven't already spoken to someone on the planning committee we've reached our limit for the Family Seafood Fish Fry!! For those that have paid or reserved your spot I'll see you there. Family Seafood Fish Fry is Saturday August 22 from 3-7. It's going to be held at 4001 Strathmore Avenue. It's B.Y.O.B!! We're going to have a ball!! There will be line dancing, great food, and lots of fun!!

Attention all family members and friends!!! On Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 3pm- 7pm we will be having a Family Seafood and Fish Fry!!! The fee for for this event is $ 5. This event will be held at Stacye's and Gerard's home at 4001 Strathmore Avenue. If you plan on attending this event please contact Stacye, Kim, Alexus or Larry as soon as possible!!! We need to have a head count before the event. Don't wait until the last minute!! There will be a meet and greet, line dancing, great food and lots of fun!! If you can't make it to the family reunion come out the day before and have a wonderful time with your family at the Family Crab and Fish Fry!! We also need for some of you to make your payments for the family reunion!!😋😋😋
