Sometimes you’re just installing pull k***s and those are simple….measure in two directions, mark the hole and drill. Other times you’re installing odd shaped drawer pulls. How do you get them centered and lined up…on multiple drawers? Simple, make a jig…pull lots of measurements….make lots of pencil marks….drill pilot holes…..and hope for the best!!😉

Merry Christmas everyone!

Just wanted to hop on here and share some pics I took of what was the last gift prepared in the shop. Couldn’t post while I was building, but this is a 6’x4’ Red Oak dining room table. Finished product in the last couple of pics.

Was able to get 4 cutting boards ready for glue and clamps this afternoon and made that happen tonight. I love how these look when done, but man that’s a lot of glue joints!!

Good afternoon everyone !

Almost four years ago we moved in to our house. Shona asked for one thing (well, other than a new kitchen, new hardwood floors, new ceilings….) anyway…she asked for a mantle over the fireplace. So after several ideas and building a smaller one for friends a few months ago, I finally was able to make it happen….shes a beaut!
Next I’ve got to move the TV and we have a couple small pictures for each side of the fireplace and this wall will be completed!

Alright guys! The first two pics are the end table that we built a few years ago. The next two are the television stand and then two of the coffee table. These last two pieces were built to match the first. Glad this one’s done!

The coffee table and TV stand are nearly complete. Filling a few holes in the bases and then the paint and antiquing process to go!

So, a few years ago we built this custom end table. A need arose to have a coffee table and TV stand to match. I’ve been busy in the shop getting these two items ready and all I have left is the oak boards for the bottoms. At that point, Shona will paint and antique the bases and I will get all the oak stained. These should be two attractive pieces when completed.

Good morning everyone!
We made a few of these last year and they were well received, so here’s another that we’re offering up. This is approximately 12 1/4” across and would make a great table center piece. The piece has a Lazy Susan on the bottom side and the top is laser etched then stained and sealed with a Charcoal stain.
