It is with a touch of melancholy I am announcing that I will retire December 31st, 2022. After 46 years in the woods my poor old body can no longer climb SE Ohio hills. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with over 1700 landowners helping them manage their woodlands. Time to spend time with my family. Thank you all for your support.

Never thought I would see this in the woods. Pictured here are two eagles I saw running in a bare area. When they spotted me they ran into an old dilapidated shed to try an get away from me . Mama flew over screeching at me a few minutes later. Property located along the Wapakoneta Creek

Just love cruising timber in the spring. Flowers pushing up everywhere. Comfortable temperatures, no humidity and the blood sucking bugs not awake yet (although I had two deer ticks on my shirt). Enjoy the view
