As many of you know the bus went out a couple months ago and now my back up vehicle has decided it was time to move on as well; so I’ve been at home getting wood ready for the coming winter months while also working on getting a new vehicle lined up, while it can be so easy to feel overwhelmed when things start piling up and seems you can’t get ahead the Bible has wisdom for all life’s questions
“If the axe is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength. Wisdom has the advantage of giving success.”
Ecclesiastes 10:10 LSB
While I’ve had the pleasure and honor of being the one keeping your tools cutting to the best of their abilities,
This week has been a time of getting resharpened myself as a business and individual, which, while getting the rough edges (old vehicles and mindsets) cleaned up can be an unpleasant experience, I trust that this is not a blunting, but a time of bringing us back to the apex of the field of sharpening.
Much like the final boss before the level up, we are going to make it through, it just may take some patience and a new van.
To all those facing challenges, keep on going, the sun will rise again tomorrow, look to the victory, not the battle…… or in my case, a cozy fire in the woodstove on a cold winters night rather than the pile of wood in front of me that still needs split. What’s my next move after this post? I’m going to go sharpen my axe.
