One of my favorite parts of building Premium TCG Deck boxes is applying Linseed oil to black walnut. This combination makes the beautiful grain pattern and rich color of black walnut really pop and stand out nicely for this awesome case!! Another night here in Gils Workshop, plugging away at filling etsy orders and putting in some work on some up and comming custom builds that we are excited to share later this month and the upcoming months 💪💪

Often times, working in the shop is more than just making orders and woodworking. Its an opportunity to self express, release and reflect. A sanctuary covered in sawdust, loud music, lasers blasting and the occasional splinter. What I appreciate the most about being able to run this buisness and serve all of you is the simple fact that it has done more for me and my family that I could ever realize. Here I am able to release the chaos that the world we live in inevitably brings to us all, quiet the thoughts that trouble me and allow me to tend to wounds rarely seen from the outside.

Time spent here has helped me realize we should love who we are, fiercely, without any question. Never shrink ourselfs because we let thoughts tell us we are too little or too much. Never let the ugliness of the world change who you are and persevere to build a future for YOU. Being able to grow, to live, experience everything life has to offer, and have a place to ground myself is a blessing that I too often overlook. And i have nothing but gratitude for all of you who have supported me and my buisness and inadvertently helped me grow and push towards a future myself and my family can stand on.

Find your own sanctuary, passion and never quit following what your soul desires. The future is bright for all those who never stop fighting and lead with their heart.

Starting off this new year i want to thank all of my customers and supporters over the past few years as we slowly build the foundation to what I hope will be an amazing array of product offerings and new opportunities for growth in the near future! We couldnt have gotten this far without all of YOU. And I am so greatful for everyone ive met and worked with along the way. What a humbling experience and I look forward to the bright future ahead!!
